Decided last minute (right at closing time) to go a sunset helicopter ride and the team at Temsco made it happen!! It was absolutely amazing with breath taking views! The pilot (Ryan) was very friendly and informative and the rest of the team was so welcoming. Highly recommended! You won't be disappointed! Our group of sunshine Floridian will definitely be back! :) We took a helicopter tour to a glacier as part of a shore excursion. Neither of us had ever been on a tour like this but I can assure you, it is out of this world amazing! Rachel, our helicopter pilot was so confident and experienced! I forgot our guides name from the glacier but he was pretty cool too! He told us tons of facts about the glacier. It's crazy to see global warming right there happening in front of your face. Our guide showed us how to do a glacier push up, where we were able to drink some of the freshest and cleanest water on the planet! Then he threw a huge rock down one of the holes in the ice. It was a good 700ft drop before we heard it hit anything below. So cool! Totally worth what we paid. 10/10 would recomend. Superb service all around. The employees were mostly young people from all over the states working during the Alaska tourism season. Very friendly and professional. I wish them all the best in their future endeavors. This was, by far, the most exciting excursion I ever took. The view was amazing. The company: very professional and organized making me feel safe, even though I am afraid of heights. Don't pass up the chance to do this if you find yourself in Skagway! Wow! What a great visit to the Meade Glacier! Our Pilot Wayne was great and so was the launch crew who helped with the gear prior to flight! Wayne made us feel safe from beginning to end of the flight. We did a small hike, did the push up sips from the melted water off the Glacier. It was so refreshing. If you get the opportunity to take this tour DO IT! We loved the Temsco team and the breathtaking views. Alaska is so beautiful and a Helicopters is the right way to see it. Thank you Temsco and Wayne!
