Very friendly staff! The walking tour with Anne was very informative and she's extremely knowledgeable! She answered questions that everyone had with ease and expanded even to fill out more of the details also. Stop in if you are curious about the history here! NOTE: The above featured photo of the AB HALL is the SKAGWAY VISITOR CENTER and NOT the KLONDIKE GOLD RUSH NHP visitor center. Both are excellent resources, but Google really needs to allow a way to report when featured photos are not of the locations they are labeled as. Skagway is a very interesting Alaskan town preserved in the style of the gold rush town it was in the time of the Klondike gold rush. Interesting cemetery and very interesting railway museum of the Yukon and white pass route! Wonderful little getaway. We took the FREE tour from the National Park Headquarters. It was great. You can pick your tour and time. Sign up early they go fast. Best place for souvenir shopping. We also hiked Lower Lake Trail on the advice from a guy who worked at the general store. A quiet getaway. Very informative people. They keep a list of people who came through during the Gold Rush. Not complete, but they have a form for you to add information if you have some.
