Room was really clean and well kept. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again the next time I'm passing through Skagway. Four adults and a dog stayed overnight. We had finished the Chilkoot trail and wanted a night with running water and a warm bed. It was clean and comfortable. Interior looks dated but we didn't care. Bathroom was stocked with the usual amenities. Very nice place! Rooms are clean and it's quiet. Only thing I suggest is a coffee maker in the rooms. The cutest rooms ever, very clean! Super sweet and friendly owners ! There's not a lot to choose from in Skagway. Sgt. Preston's is the best value in town. It may not look like much from the outside, but the rooms have been cleanly updated. They were great with shuttles from the ferry terminal.
