This is a super nice small area tucked away inside off the main street to have lunch or early dinner. We enjoyed having the caribou burger, which was a good size. It can easily be shared between two people if you like a lite lunch. Which we do...Although it is sized for full tummy for one. It was tasty and comes with a side of fries. Outside dining on picnic tables is available and a few tables for inside dining. Inside dining is great for cold windy days however, you will be with all the kitchen aromas that come from cooking, only a curtain separates the inside dining and kitchen. Not bad if you don't mind the odors of a lively kitchen. Hours are from 9-6. The owner is a nice guy who gave us information when asked about the local surroundings. Had the bbq pulled pork sandwich. The pork perfect and the bbq sauce had a nice flavor not too sweet. My husband had fresh halibut fish and chips. He said best fish he has ever had. The man who runs the place is very friendly and service was fast. If you are looking for a quick lunch this is the place. The owner was incredibly friendly! The food was incredibly fantastic! A off-the-way hole-in-the-wall that is truly worth the find. Really can't say anymore than if you're in Skagway, come here! We went here for lunch while on vacation. The owner was friendly and made great recommendations. My parents got the fish and chips, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. I got the Hot Pan burger which had just the right amount of spice! All of the portions were generous. It was my dad's birthday, and the owner surprised us with fresh, homemade cinnamon rolls - FANTASTIC! I'm so glad we came here - it was a highlight of our trip to Skagway. It's not easy to see from the street - but definitely worth the effort to find this place when you're in town. Reccomended by a local. Best excursion meal on our cruise. The carabou burger is really great and the chili is a good comfort food in this cute town. Owner is fun and down for a laugh. Really good experience.
