The best attraction in the area and definitely worth the money. Stunning views from the train ride Incredible views when hanging outside the train, otherwise it can be a little obscured by the windows but amazing train ride with non stop sights. A definite bucket list trip. My sons and I took the return trip from Bennett Lake after doing the Chilkoot Trail. Spectacular scenery as you wind your way down from sky to sea. Great train ride, we had some kind of a glitch in the system and we traveled an extra 16 miles, so that was nice. You can go outside the back of train car to stand around & take pictures. Good event. The description did not include information about the 45 minute ferry trip to Skagway and back (from Haines).
