The train ride is cool (although there's an option to take a helicopter), and the hike is pretty easy and short. Once you get to the glacier, there's a lot to see and explore. Most exciting glacier I've been on for sure One of my favorite hikes in Skagway near skagway. You have to take the train 14 miles to the trailhead and it's a short 3 miles to the glacier with 6½ hours before the train well be back to pick you up. Hiked to the Laughton Glacier with Packard guides last week. Was a great trip, can't wait to get back up here to do this again. Beautiful hike up to Laughton Glacier.
