Fabulously little place with all local artists treasure. A must stop in. The gentleman was full of knowledge and willing to share with you! Also love my anchor tail necklace. My husband and I recently visited Skagway, and we were fortunate enough to stumble into Inspired Arts, a locally-owned and operated shop filled with local and original artwork. I immensely enjoyed browsing through their selection and chatting with Tina Cyr, one of the shop's owners and artists. Tina was born and raised in Skagway, and she was absolutely a pleasure! I loved the selection of media, and I also appreciated that you could find something even on a conservative budget. I selected one of Tina's prints for our home, and a piece of Donna Griffard's pottery made with an imprint of local Lungwort Lichen as a birthday present for my mom. If you are looking for authentic, inspired art for yourself or a gift (and want to avoid Made in China knick-knacks that port-adjacent shops are often full of), we would definitely recommend Inspired Arts!
